About the event
The Deering Community Church Women’s Guild is celebrating National Poetry month on April 12th from 2pm to 4pm in the Deering Church hall. Jeanne Bartlett will be reading poems from her book, A Voice Downstream, and there will also be an open mic period. Please bring your own work to read or that of your favorite poet. Refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to the public.
Donations will gladly be received to benefit the Deering Meditation, Memory Garden.
